  • Florian Drexel, Bass

"To be a member of Die Singphoniker is the fulfillment of a dream. I am very happy about the possibility to work with such top-class and and the same time kind colleagues and to sing and gather new experiences. The term „Ensemble“ speaks for itself: acquiring new repertoire and then bringing it to life on stage - without losing the characterisics of each voice and singer in the process."

The young bass Florian Drexel discovered his passion for singing in his childhood first and foremost as singer in various choirs – thus, singing in ensembles still is a main part of his work.

  • Berno Scharpf, Piano

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity - to be a part of the Singphoniker as a pianist and accompany and support them with my instrument. Especially because the Singphoniker are the only ensemble of this kind to include their very own pianist in the lineup.“

Chamber music is his metier. Especially in the piano trio setup and in Lied recitals is where pianist Berno Scharpf feels most at home.
Being the vocal ensemble the Singphoniker´s pianist since 1990 he has since toured Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia.
He teaches piano, organ, violin and chamber music at a high school and serves as accompanist for pupils and students during exams.
